What would you rather? Not get CM and have an 80% chance at Lache Seastrunk OR take him now and have a 50% chance at Lache?

Thats easy, take him now.

I know that is what the coaches always say (never ASSUME), but honestly, if Lache is as solid as we think, who is better-- him or CM?

Clean, you know the guy better than anyone. How good can he be?

Well if he is so solid, why even have the discussion about the chances CM makes LS go somewhere else?

Unless CM REALLY wants to come to LSU, all this is just a waste of time and energy.
Can someone address why CM does not visit BR?
Philter suggests that CM only wants an offer from LSU to get a 5th star and for status; that he is a closet Aggie commit. Philter posits that LSU doesn't offer b/c they suspect this is the case.
can somebody address this contention? Does CM refuse to come to BR? Any good reasons for not doing so?

Thank you.

If this dude really want to be a Tiger, then why the frick has he found it so difficult to make his way 3-1/2 hours down the road to let his potential future coaches evaluate him. shite, Shep offered him a ride!

I think he's an outstanding back, but you've gotta do more than just SAY you want to go to a school, you've got to DO IT and show the coaches why you DESERVE a scholarship (see Appleton)....ESPECIALLY when the team you want to play for is the defending NC!!!

Does he think he gets an offer based on video alone?

I don't think they're passing on him at all. I think he has a committable offer.

You seem very naive in regards to recruiting. A non-committable offer is an actual offer...but the staff would not accept it if he tried to pull the trigger because of a player being ranked much higher on their board and a feeling of a realistic chance to get that higher player. Trent Richardson is that player.

Regardless of how you feel about Michael, or how I feel about his talents...or where the rantards place him in the ranking of RBs, the only thing that matters is where the staff ranks him on their board - and they will not take his commitment until they run out of options with the players ahead of him.
