You probably don't know right.

Once again, asinine to think the Top LB and Top RB in Texas don't have "committable" offers from us. It's simply a cop-out if they don't commit to us. IF they commit to us, then it was "oh I guess they did have a committable offer".

This is BS. Maybe they just don't want to commit until they feel like it? Stupid to believe the top RB and top LB in Texas doesn't have a committable offer from us. It's committable...

An un-committable offer is something that most in Arky can't comprehend...What's the strategy here if CM is a Plan B type player...Why offer now when you could come in later and possibly flip him with an LSU offer?

RanTARDs believe we have a real shot at Richardson and think because of that we won't give Michael a committable offer until we know "for sure" Richardson won't waver on his Bama committment. It's really stupid to believe something like this, especially considering even if Richardson decommitted he'd go to Florida in all likelihood.

It's not like Michael is a scrub. If we pass on Michael and don't land Richardson it was incredibly dumb if this has any truth to it.

In all seriousness, I don't think either have COs. If they did, Williams would have committed.

It's asinine to think b/c Rivals has Michael as the best RB in TX, that LSU would take him. He's been talking up LSU from day 1, even most recently saying LSU is the leader. How is that a cop-out to say he doesn't have an offer before he even decides? It's not. LSU stopped recruiting him over a month ago until recently when he blew up at the FL camp, and even still they want to see him in person before they take him.

OK, I know I'm gonna get beat up for this (oh well), but.....is it REALLY an "offer" if it's non-comittable. Isn't it really....."we're interested in ya son, just don't know if we wanna offer you OR not!"

No it's not when you consider LSU already has Ford and Pratt committed.

Common sense seems to elude a lot of people on these boards

Not it's not okay. Will we be fine at the RB position? Sure.

Will it be incredibly dumb to pass up on the top RB in the state of Texas who wanted to come here because we thought we had an outside shot at a slightly better guy? Absolutely.

Does having only 2 four star RBs coming in seem like the end of the world as you alluded to? Getting Richardson would be ideal, obviously. Does everything need to be spelled out for you?

I'm in that boat. Well, better than Pratt, at least as good as Ford. We would be stupid not to take him.

We get in this class Ford and Pratt.

Next year we have on roster(nobody leaving early)

Ridley SO
Murphy JR
William SR
Holliday SR
Scott SR
Ford FR
Pratt FR

Then we have a entirely new RB class next year that we can choose from and right now we lead for LS. At one point we led for Dyer, not to mention whoever else LSU is interested in that class. We're fine if we miss TR and CM.

he doesnt have a CO for a reason, he has been rated the top RB in TX by a scouting service not the LSU staff. obviously they like Pratt Ford and Richardson more
