It is. It's all negative recruiting to. Many fans and neighbors are guilty of this. Could you imagine what other coaching staffs are saying? It's just ridiculous.

Imagine if they would have all stayed together? That's the real victory by our rivals is breaking that class up, not getting them to go to the school their recruiting for wasn't a total loss. Not having them come here was still a win for everyone but LSU.

Would've been best class in history. Bar none.

Yeah, I'm nervous. Him saying this doesn't mean he's going to Florida State, UCLA, Alabama, or LSU. He's playing it close to the vest and today, all kinds of crazy rumors are going around. It's time to just chill out, trust that the coaches have sold LSU to the right kids, and see what happens tomorrow. LSU will have a great class, no matter if Dupre ends up disappointing us. We want kids who love LSU and want to be here.

I don't know why people are surprised that Young is gone. He's been wanting to leave the state for a long time. The surprising part is that he seems like he's only going as far as College Station.

What about the top players that we got from other states?

2 of the top 5 from TX with Adams and Paris. #1 player from MS in Voorhies. #1 player from Illinois, also #1 MLB prospect in the country, in Garrett. And Clark is still committed to us right now and hes a top 2 player from Oklahoma. Not sure if he signs with us because of his family situation and have no problem with that. We did awesome this year with out of state players. Some of these guys are actually upgrades over the in state players we lost.

But it seems that most people just look at the guys that we missed out on, instead of looking at the guys we got. Yea it sucks losing out on some of the in state guys. But we got a great group of guys from the state. Starting with the biggest fish in the pond in LF. Who happens to be the #1 player in the country and has been labeled a "once in a lifetime" type prospect. And we also got Quinn, Harris, Washington, Godchaux, Brumfield, Clapp, Williams, etc. All of them are big time prospects.

If we get Dupre, Valentine, and the 2 LBs from TX we will have an awesome class. Everyone says its been a "disappointing year" in recruiting for us. But at the end of the day we are looking at a top 5 class, most likely top 3, and 1 of the best classes we have ever had at LSU.

that's great and all but it's still disappointing to lose a lot of 5 star talent in your own state. especiallly since this was the year for the greatest recruiting class of all time

Yeah i know... never said it wasnt disappointing. Sucks losing in state guys. But it happens every year. If they dont want to come here, what can we do? Its not like we didnt recruit the hell out of Noil, GW, C-Rob, etc. We did everything we could to get those guys here. They just didnt want to come here.

But its not like we didnt fill their spots or filled them with scrubs. If we get Valentine, losing GWIII doesnt hurt nearly as bad. And GW would be playing DT here. Valentine could be better than GW at DT. Jamal Adams is an upgrade over Hootie Jones.

And if we get Sione Teuhema, we get his 2015 little brother. Who just happens to be a 5* OT.

Damn... just realized what the 2015 core would look like if we get the Teuhema bros. Kelvin Toliver, 5* #1 CB and #1 in the country. Maea Teuhema, 5* and #2 OT in country. Brossette, top 5 RB in the country. Kevin Henry, 4* top 10 S in the country. And we will get Guice too, who is another top 5 RB in the country. Thats a nasty core and a great group to start the 2015 class with.

I am not holding my breathe for either one of these guys. Never had a good feeling with either, Young for sure. If we get one it will be Dupre. I don't think we have a fighters chance with Young.

Surely hope you are wrong. Louisiana boys could bring it all home to LSU!

The hidden talents are what we can show to the NFL. The blue chip players are going to be found by the NFL regardless of where they play.
