Steady wind all night in West Monroe, but only about 1 1/2" of rain. Got a huge limb down in back yard but other than that no real damage. . . . Yet

I'm at work, but apparently everyone thinks they can be late, because it's raining.

I'm at work in the Funroe. Saw a couple of downed trees on my way in, but nothing major. This wind sure is a bitch, though.

Is Shreveport getting about the same as us in Monroe or they getting a little worse?

Its sprinkling near 3132/49 and little bands of gusty winds...Just enough to make you want to sit on the couch and not do anything

Raining in South Highlands, winds blowing the trees around. At the office, I'm lucky enough for a window with a giant oak outside, so I can keep up with the goings-on.

Also, to any teachers or people who work at the local schools/colleges:

and government jobs. There are mostly government employees that work in my office complex. The parking lot is empty.

Yet here I am, staring out the window, watching the wind blow as I sip on my coffee and dick off on the internet.

Why am I here?

Looking at radar and the way most of the rain is on the east side this is likely the storm for NW LA.
