Winds are gusting here in Shreve island. We have 2 huge pecan trees and my chainsaw is in a pod because we moved.

I'm from Natchitoches but spent 10.5 years in the military so I missed Katrina and Rita in North Louisiana but I remember when Andrew hit our area. That was a scary night when you're a kid.

the storm will be in north louisiana by tomorrow mornng. BR kids will be fine to go to school friday. We are expecting heavy rain until friday evening
