I sent a letter from Shreveport to BR yesterday, express mail. I expected it to be held for a couple of days, nope. Delivered by noon today, even with the storm. I was impressed by the USPS. Following the poem when they need to, I suppose.

Mail from Monroe to BR is only one day, is it not from S-port?

Well, I like to take extra precautions with it. Fact of the matter is it's rent and I get a little skittish about it.

i wasn't rallying support for the post office or anything, just saying that I was impressed by their services through a storm such as this.

Wow, my G-G-G-Grandfather founded Old Castor Church/Cemetery, so we are part "owners" also. We are probably related LOL. Small world, as they say.
