Has anyone done this diet to any significant success? I normally follow a CKD diet pretty carefully, but I wanted to give this a run for 2 weeks. Just started yesterday and it's not going to be a difficult diet for me to follow for 2 weeks, but I'm worried about losing significant strength.

I gave it a run a couple of weeks before my wedding and I dropped a ton of weight really fast.

But it's pretty tough, and if you have an S.O. they will hate you and your bubble guts

Yeah 777 put me on it and I got to my lowest weight. Looked really slim, but then I gained it all back by being an undisciplined fatty.

Don't think I lost any strength I also didn't do 3 hours of cardio each day. Only about 1.5.

let me know if you need help. its really not that bad, not even close to as hard as a fat fast but it works very very well.

I know not the case for everyone, but food is gonna be pretty easy for me, my biggest problem is cutting back with the weights for a couple of weeks. The temptation to not cut back and thus overtrain is so strong.

But gonna try and cut back and incorporate way more incline treadmill walks.

Yea she's already not a fan.

Do I really need to do that? I really don't want to.

That's what Lyle McDonald suggested in the books. Not cutting out entirely, but going easier. If I remember correctly.

i didn't go easier, just cut back the volume. If you are a type 1 or type 2, you prolly dont have too just realize you are going to be pushing the limits of overtraining if you stick to the caloric restrictions.

Totally not on topic, but Lyle is a creepy dude I am in the BodyRecomposition group on FB and he posts so many stories about the female orgasm or random sex studies. Lures all the females to the comments. Weirds me out.

Anyway, this diet looks extreme so I have zero doubt it works as far as pure weight dropping goes. Good luck.

I'm doing it, I started on Monday and will run for 10-11 days.

I thought because I have done CKD for so long I would be able to do this easy peasy. Not the case, felt like absolute shite in the gym yesterday. It's not easy. And I'm really sick of baked chicken.

ETA: and I will not be doing this again any time soon.

I've his ebooks, pretty sure I got my copies from 777, but never really paid attention to the person until about a week ago. I am looking into doing a iifym/lean gains type of diet when I come out of this, and I've been reading a lot of Layne Norton's stuff and stumbled across their internet feud from a few years ago. Lyle comes across as a major dick.

I should've ran it with you starting monday.

I can eat baked chicken everyday. No problem there.

My issue when I ran it was that I kept wanting to go in the pantry and fill up a whole cup of peanuts or mixed nuts to snack on. (which is my problem all the time)

Only thing I'm going to have in the entire house for those 14 days are chicken breast, whey, green beans, and baby spinach.

Lyle is a smart mother fricker.....but that is all he is. He is a complete and utter asshat, a complete dick and weighs 150lbs soaking wet yet thinks he knows everything and his way is the only way.

Now you should listen to him on advice for cutting and for scientific study, but I swear to god if i ever meet him, I am going to jail for the arse whoopin I am going to give him.

He's a huge dick to a lot of people, which seems uncalled for. His facial hair also makes me

Lazy I will start with you on Monday. But I will only run through Friday as I will be on a mini vacation come Friday night. When I get back Sunday I will go another round, prolly just for the week as I am going camping in the weekend.
