Hoka and On Cloud make the douchiest and ugliest shoes. If you wear them more power to you. I know they are comfortable but you’ll never see me sporting them.

Was shocked trying on onclouds for the first time the other day at Dick's. They are not comfortable at all lol. Couldn't believe it given how often I see them. Zero arch suppport and just feels like I'm walking on planks. Terrible shoes.

Until you get plantar fasciitis or work in healthcare.. then you will wear hokas. They were /are the Only thing that helped mine go away. Onclouds are uncomfortable though.

My arches are horrible. I run in Mizuno Waverunners. It's been the best for my arches.

Try the cloudmonsters. Literally every other pair of ON’s are arse but those. Running stores can’t keep them stocked - they are flying off the shelves.

I got fitted at fleet feet a couple weeks ago and they didn’t have any to try on for me or my wife.

I wonder if OAC clapping cheeks has something to do with this. I thought they were going to be a joke of a club when they first started but their pros have been smashing records in ON shoes.

I bought a pair of HOKA Bondi shoes a couple weeks ago - super soft cushion ride and extremely wide platform/toe-box.

I had been using Brooks Dyda for the last three pairs and they were comfortable, but I only got 390 miles out of the last pair - down from 500+ out the previous pairs.

$165....they better wear well.....

I hated Hokas for running. With all that cushion you'd think they'd be easy on your joints. But they're just not stable. My knees would always hurt after running on them.

They are super comfortable, though. Good for walking or if you have to be on your feet all day.

Spot on analysis - I should have mentioned, I use them for walking - 1 hour per day.

My running days are 20 years in the rearview mirror.

Certainly should help them in the track world and to serious runners. Most people buying and running in On’s buy them because a running shoe store put them on their feet or because they’re trendy.

All of their best running shoes have a common thread in that they are minimizing the “CloudTec”.

My last pair of Brooks didn't last very long compared to previous pairs, I bought them in September and they've been toast since January.

I tried the Clifton 7s but after 300 miles they felt much more worn out than any other shoe I've hit at that mileage. Haven't gone back since. I normally like to change between 2 to 3 pairs of shoes at a time and the transition out of HOKAs didn't feel pleasant on my end.

I mean don’t take my word for it. Google some reviews. They’re super positive for this one model only where they crap all over the brand in the past.

Considering all the advancements in shoe technology the past few years (specifically the midsole and foams), Hoka should be absolutely embarrassed of their product offerings. They've got to be the only manufacturer selling EVA based shoes over $120.
