You keep saying this, what the hell are you talking about? Was he eating a lot of food, yes but he was also making alot of gains and not gaining much fat. now because he has health problems prior to this, sure its a problem but for normal healthy person it wouldnt be.

My point is before doing this diet

He should have known his body and any health issues he had prior. All these diets always say consult a physician before hand if you are unsure.

Supposedly being a D1 athlete at times he would have been taught health and fitness. As well as having physicals to identify any potential health issues.

Sorry but night sweats, not sleeping and blood sugar issues does not sound like a good time, just for the gainzzzzzzzzz.

shite for the gainz I would do anything. Na I agree. I didnt know any of this when I told him to do Wendlers bulk plan.

The blood sugar issues can be scary and he should see a doc quickly.

but most doctors are stupid and think everything is extreme yet they stuff triple cheeseburgers down all the time.

Bro at TCU when I first got there I was 155 pounds. Our coaches/team dietician fed the shite out of me as I was an ectomorph who had trouble gaining weight. My junior/senior year is when I finally started to get up there and my senior year weigh ins were around 180-185

When I was done with football I stopped working out so hard, and for the most part, stopped working out at all. But I kept the same eating habits. From 2011-2015 or so I still ate like I was desperately trying to gain weight. I ate a lot of fast food and processed food and not a lot of fruits or veggies. My typical diet for a day was something like this:

Breakfast - Giant bowl of sugar cereal, eggs
Lunch - Fast Food from somewhere
Dinner - Entire Frozen Pizza, Entire Skillet of Hamburger Helper, etc.
Dessert - A lot of ice cream

Do that for 4 years straight like I did and there can be problems. The only thing that kept me from eating more was the cost.

And for the first 3 years of that or so I didn't really put on any pounds, in fact I lost weight from my senior year football weight. But at some point in late 2014/early 2015 the ectomorph metabolism part of me went away and all of a sudden I had gained about 40 pounds. Had a beer belly, double chin, etc. and was fat. This is probably where I gained the insulin resistance issues.

lower the protein then. john bernardi has the get shredded diet where he says do 35% protein, 65% fat, the last 10% coming from green veggies.

Can you do this on a bulk? Read the article and it seemed like more of a cutting diet.

It is a cutting diet, but bulking and cutting is more determined by calories first then macros. And you have other issues to worry about. I wouldn't go crazy on the protein at first. You can slowly raise it. But you need to be monitoring your blood sugar, go get a damn kit from wal greens.

Focus on being healthy in a slight caloric surplus first. You have more important things to worry about than pure muscle. Take it slow and easy.

I learned today through YouTube that I don't even lift or eat. Brian Shaw eats 12000 calories and a guy named Clarence can deadlift 750lbs without a belt.
