Are any of the cheap hex bars worth a damn?

I see the titans for 350. They look chinese.

I see the amazon specials for 100 bucks. They look chinese.

Bar will mainly see 3-400. Will occasionally see more for carries.

I bought a cheap one and it's fine for light to moderate weight.

I have the “mega” whatever from Walmart. Cap probably. I’ve had 500 on it and seemed fine. I hate the knurling though, not very aggressive

I have the Bells of Steel one and really like it. It’s rusting in my non conditioned garage, but I don’t care. Note that the short sleeves limit what you can load, especially using bumper plates.

The built in Jack is probably why I chose this one in the end.

I bought this CAP one off Amazon two years ago ($90) and it works just fine and has plenty of good reviews.

I have the Titan one and like it. Heaviest I’ve gotten on it was 500. It’s on sale for $285

thats the one i have for my kids. its decent but can be a pain in the arse if you have high quality plates as the tolerances arent good on the bar and some plates dont fit.

also it is narrow

but it has handled them pulling 175 and slamming it(they get a little carried away ) and took it like a champ. Would think it could handle 300 pretty easy

Good feedback as have been looking at these for my kids. For the cost, it's hard to see a reason not to give it a try.
