14:50

Paced the 21 round too much (5:58) then got blown up on 15 and had to rush to finish.

Going to redo it and just not worry about the time and go, no matter how tired I am I can push the end, and no matter how much I pace I’m going to blow up on burpees

Most of the better athletes at the gym were in the 4-5 min range for finishing the around of the 21s.

You’re 6 reps away from the halfway point starting the 15s.

Top crew goes at 6:30 tonight.

I was 4:08 on the 21 round. Just hold on for dear life.

Bigperm, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you? That's just a damn good time. My 48 year old arse has a hard time keeping up with these young frickers in CF. I do well enough in strength, but they kick my arse in cardio.

I ended up being on the road from 1-5 and wasn’t feeling it to run thru the FNL at the gym.

8:30 am on Monday, here I come!

Messing around in the garage with the DBs was :40 on the first set of 21. I’ll make sure to start the weaker arm first so I get to knock out nearly half of those left arm reps without any issues.

I tested several ways to jump over the DB and will probably do the crossover single foot takeoff because it feels smoother.

My goal is sub 12.

Will they allow you to start on either arm? If I had known that I think I would have done the same. Oh well. Right arm, left arm, it all sucks.

It ain’t the snatches that get you

I know, but I slightly tore a tricep a few years ago and it bothers me on SA shite.

I want the burpees to be the wall, not the snatches.

One of our guys was sub 7:20 tonight,

Pretty decent score. He must be one of those young Bucs.

32 or so.

His cardio is very good but he lacks the top end strength and good gymnastics to make it to the Semis.

Jealous. I’m assuming all the older dudes on TRT would be disqualified. Most of the ones that I know that posted a better score than me are on the TRT.

My goal was to just not get capped. Finished 12:54 and made myself a promise to never do that workout again lol.

What are the odds of seeing crossovers instead of dubs this year?

I had a fleeting thought Saturday night to retest on Sunday. Went to the gym Sunday and a friend was about to retest so I judged for him.

Watching him suffer through 24.1 again solidified my decision that I wasn’t retesting.

I hope we get DUs and not crossovers. DUs are a strong movement for me but I’ve never even tried crossovers before.

Did the coach/judge make y'all do the last burpee, and then jump over the barbell again with both feet before beginning again on the OH snatch?

Reason why I ask is because my coach did, but I don't see that shite in the standards, nor do I see anyone else recording their 24.1 on YouTube doing that.
