trying to play a modded skyrim

fresh install, and using mod manager instead of nexxus manager.

after many of the mods, it's like a brand new game. And with new Skyrim edition coming soon, the mod creators updating and creating new mods.

I have a feeling this will be a crash and burn.

Fire Emblem Birthright, Monster Hunter Generations, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, and I might possibly get another game, but not 100% sold on which one yet.

BL4 run of Bloodborne

Just beat regular Amygdala. Shadows has probably been the hardest fight thus far.

I suck at King of Tokyo so my games are like 10 minutes. I've started moving away from games with heavy dice rolling. For instance I find Catan more annoying than fun. Splendor is pretty strategic for such a quick game. It differs greatly based on the number of players.

Played a couple games of hive yesterday and I am really enjoying it. Very high quality tiles. It's like chess without a defined board.

I'm finally getting round to Rise of the Tomb Raider. I'll be playing that, and Overwatch.

I've finished 1 & 2 and will finish 3 today. Would have finished last night, but I'm playing on high diff and keep getting wrecked on the final mission.

The game itself doesn't want you to finish it.

Thanks, I just hit 17 and I have the castle mission available along with 4 settlements. I have been building those up, exploring and I ran into the Brotherhood. Joined up with them and started doing missions for the knight. Mostly just exploring west to east before I go further south, as the enemies are really difficult even with using power armor. I have only found 3 fusion cores for the armor so I have to use it sparingly.

3 of the settlements I have 5+ people in farming mutfruit so I can sell them for caps later on.

Best weapons I have is the 10mm pistol, a .45 combat rifle I want to mod for .308, a combat shotgun and my mini .308 sniper rifle.

Combat shotgun is good for ghouls especially if I let doge take them down first

Haven't been able to play as much while prepping for moving. Playing The Evil Within, Nights of Azure, and FF14 on console/PC.

Legend of Heroes on handheld. Almost done with it and Nights of Azure.

I'm stuck on Quantum Break. I can't lower the difficulty without starting the Act all over.

I like that tool but a lot of modders set up their files wrong. So I prefer the manual install.

What do you think of it? It looked alright, but not enough to convince an early buy.

I played 2 4-player games of KOT over the weekend. The first game lasted about 20 minutes. The second game lasted nearly 40. This range is perfect for my family. I like more strategy heavy games but if I've got non-gamers in my group (which is 99% of the time) I think a mixture of luck and strategy is best. It allows people who lack skill to still stay competitive.

I've heard good things about Hive. If you enjoy games similar to chess, I've also seen The Duke suggested. The pieces are double-sided tiles that have different movement patterns on them. Each time you move a piece you flip it so the next time you use it you must use the new movement pattern.

I like it. It has these wierd episodes between Acts. But the gameplay is fun with the different powers.
