How do you get the added DLC ending?

Unlike 2, the resources aren't used for upgrades. You just need as many as possible to have the best endings. So they aren't 100% useless. Without them you get a crap ending.

I like the weapon upgrades better in 3 but then they added weight which pissed me off a bit.

Most people that hate 3 believed the hype that every tiny decision would have massive implications trickling outward.

They will claim the decisions are meaningless but they aren't.

I think the big issue with ME3 is more like: with ME2's ending being as great as it was (best emotional payoff of any game ever), ME3 being a whole lot of "meh" really deflated the experience.

People had been writing huge novels of theories all over the internet before the release of me3 that put there real story to complete shame.

That being said, every single aspect of me3 leading up to the ending was great, and when the choices you made: shine.

The indoctrination theory will always be the true me3 ending to me.

Don't know. Dead at the moment.

Hoping it is just the power supply. Ordered a new one.

I ended up playing the DLC before some real missions without realizing it.

oh common now Scruffy, I know you are a lot like a woman scorned when it comes to this game, but as much as you can hate on it... the actual game, not the ending, the actual game, had a lot of payoff to your choices.

In fact, I just completely ignore that the whole thing even happened (for like the last 15 minutes of the game) and just basically say "ok, we won somehow, probably because of my choices, but I affect a lot of people along the way... cool"

Pre-orded NMS. Why not?

Also finally got a Vita. Some great jrpgs available for it, plus MGS2/3 for when I'm on the road. Very underrated platform.

Vita is the king of jrpgs. And more are still coming.

So the decisions I make in Mass Effect changes what happens in the sequels?

Yes, you can import your save game from ME1 to ME2 and on over to ME3.

Example: Someone who gets killed in ME1 will not be available in the games that follow. Other players may still have that person around in ME3.

Yes. Even though Scruffy says no, he is actually full of crap.

Hell, if you sucked at keeping people alive in 2, then 3 is a dull game because everyone is dead. If you keep everyone alive, you run into them on various missions in 3.

I'll say it again. I felt so bad about my decision the first time I played 3, I played it again. Although my decision was selfish and changed all of humanity. I'm loyal to my friends. Frack all of humanity.

What's everyone playing this weekend? I hope to finish mass effect, but I probably won't.

Probably Dishonored Definitive Edition with some Battlefield 4 sprinkled in.
