How do you handle the glare gaming?

I usually close my blinds when I start playing

Edit: did everyone sign up for the titanfall beta? I'm going to be pissed if I get mine tonight since I won't be in town. Plus I won't be able to play at all tomorrow either

ILikeLSU helped me put together a super simple and cheap surfing build for a friend of mine which includes an APU. We initially put 2x2 of gskill 1600, but I noticed that the price went up today. They had a 1x4 1866 gskill for $40. I know APUs favor faster speeds. Does the benefit of dual channel outweigh the faster speed? I have heard dual channel doesn't make that much difference. Either way the guy isn't gaming so it probably won't matter, but I wanted to get the guy the best bang for the buck.

In his case, it won't make a difference. I selected literally the cheapest RAM on PCPartpicker at the time, and it just happened to be that decent GSkill kit.

Okay, so what OS is going to be better, 7 or 8?
I've read a lot of the pros and cons for each one, but just wanted to come here and ask also. Thanks.

true. but its a lot easier to get your hands on a copy of pro vs ultimate (other than just torrenting it of course)
after that, daz to the rescue.

Yes it highly benefits from dual channel.

Saying that, if you guys put an A4 or A6 and the build is not for heavy multitasking, you are fine.

If you have never messed with APUs before, they are very resource depended.

Blue please report back on that terrible fan!

It was louder than 4x7870s/270X. Totally drowned out all other cards in the room.

I will tomorrow when I start mining.

I may be grabbing a 7870 XT as well. How much better is that than a 7870 ghz mining wise?
