My 7870 was great until 1 day I had to turn off dx11 for metro 2033 and now my rig is a piece of shite.

So I always get random Amazon gift cards for different things like doing a random 5 minute survey for $10 or some crap. I just let it build up until I want something and right now I am sitting at about $250. I have the itch to order something for my PC but I have everything I need.
I guess the only thing I don't have is a Korean IPS.

It's the nature of the hobby. You always want more. Look at Coyote and his desire for a third Titan.
I'm not encouraging anyone to upgrade. Just want yall to make informed decisions. Don't upgrade something if you aren't sure, in precise terms, what to expect from that upgrade.

FWIW I'm being very sarcastic..
My current build is a beast compared to what I use to have.. and while I'm not 100% sure on it, I'm pretty sure I have far exceeded what we will even see on next gen consoles as far as graphics power now.. that being said, as time goes on, I will probably upgrade to two of the 70-model next gen amd cards, (I guess the 8070?) and will upgrade my MOBO to the new intel slot and get an i7 of the new gen processor. and get a 500GB SSD all the while upgrading to a 1440p monitor. But these things are a long way off. Because honestly I don't even know if my current case could hold all of these new things!!!
