Got it at 1080p on the Korean. Dual 1080p monitors until Thursday it is.

Should still be able to get 1440p with the adapter from monoprice, I'll keep digging.

GOT IT!

You are lucky, I've never got a Korean to work with anything but dual DVI.

How is the pump\fan?

I read the noise isn't too bad when in a case.

I would say I definitely got one of the silent good ones, wasn't loud even with the case open much at all, especially with the case closed.

What was the issue? I was surprised to see it wasn't working. I have the same type of adapter, but mini-displayport. Used it with my 7970s back in the day.

Not sure, was black screened but my 2nd monitor was detected. I think it was just the settings, once I duplicated the display it appeared, then changed to extended and 1440p. For whatever reason I think it reset my windows display settings.

This thing runs cool it's awesome, idle at about 28-30, after about 2 hours of H1Z1 hottest it reached was 53. Scythe Typhoon fan they used is great and quiet as can be, pull/push a lot of air through the radiator, added a cooler master fan to the other side and she's good to go.

Every adapter I tried to use on my CrossOvers and Shiman wouldn't work. Display port to DVI and HDMI to DVI. This seemed to be true for all Koreans at the time. Maybe my Koreans are just too old?!?

My current chair is 2yrs old and needs replacing. I've previously purchased the high end side of standard Office Depot chairs for gaming.

Among all of these new gimmick "gaming chairs" is the best?

Gaming at 1440p with a 780 should I buy another 780 and SLI or just upgrade to a 980

980 Ti

Edt: A single 780 is pretty weak. I had a 780 Lightning years ago and the card really couldn't push AAA titles @ 1440.

Honestly would sell it on eBay/Amazon and buy a single 980 Ti or a 780 Ti for 350 before purchasing another 780.

No, I'm not spending that much on a chair. But a ton of streamers have them and swear by them, including ones not sponsored by them. They are by far the most popular, and if you've ever sat in a sports car with seats like them, you'd get why a bit more.

I'd definitely get one if I wanted to drop $400 on a chair.

The new monitor is here! Gonna set it up after dinner. Excited to check out 144Hz and FreeSync.

Full time streamers would be better off dropping the major cash for a Herman Miller Aeron or similar, the types of chairs programmers use. But they're much much more expensive, and of course they don't have the omg-look-at-me-im-a-1337-gamer visual appeal.
