Might have to enter the thread this weekend. Still not sold. I hated the damn tutorial so much from Witcher 2 it has me turned off on 3.

But... I need something to do since I recently completed my double play through of Mass Effect 1-3.

My favorite potion so far is the 3rd version of Golden Oriole. Poison dmg is converted to HEALING.

Play it. I had never played a Witcher game before and it's blown every expectation I had, even after playing what I though was one of the best RPG's ever in DA:I, out of the water.

I couldn't finish Witcher 2. This one is significantly better. It fixed nearly every problem I had with Witcher 2.

There is nothing as annoying as the tutorial from 2 in 3. Witcher 3 is the best game in a while for me, better than DA:I by a decent bit.

Agreed. I've never played a Witcher game until this one, and I have been blown away.

A 49pg gaming board thread with only minimal bitching, if you are into this genre, should equal a must buy.

Yep. As someone else said, the game has its share or rough edges, but it's just too good to pass up.

Read the CDPR forums, and you would think it was an Ubisoft shite-show of a game.

I DID IT. Every single Gwent card is mine. Just beat the quest and go the achievement. White orchard is patched for consoles

Seriously, I think some of those folks were ready to lynch some game developers if the patch hadn't hit this weekend.

If anyone knew about the cow-hide exploit (kill a bunch of cows, meditate and they'll all respawn) for basically unlimited loot/money, CDPR fixed it on the new update, and it's pretty funny how they did.

I see there isn't any hand holding. Got on the horse, trotted past the destroyed village. Saw some evil looking things by the water.

Headed over to rough them up...pretty much instantly killed me but I think I lost half my vitality jumping the 3 feet from the road to the water.

I've seen some complaints in this thread about the ridiculous fall / jumping down damage.
