I played midnight mania last night and all the way through my cutscenes, I thought my player sounding like Channing Tatum.

6'4" Sharpshooting PG. Got drafted 7th by the Nuggets. We haven't lost a game yet. It probably helps that I put my 3pt all the way up to 94 with some VC that came with the game. Traded in fallout 4 for a good bit of VC at Gamestop. I found that shooting with the X button was really difficult. I switched to the stick and rarely miss shots now. I think they made the shooting easier with the stick to make people like me convert. Also, I noticed that it is really easy to steal the ball when the opposing player is just standing in one spot dribbling. Now I average about 8 steals a game. If you keep countering contracts, you eventually get more money.

Has anyone attempted to get traded yet?
I know you have to play (not sim) 10 games with the team you get drafted by. But i'm wondering how getting traded effects the storyline. Does Justice Young get traded with me?
In the past if you got traded, the storyline kind of just disappeared.

I was wondering the same thing. I bet they would make a trade including you and justice. Your guy will probably demand a trade only if it includes Justice. I'm about to do some research.. I'm curious now.

I hate playing MyPark with fricking randoms. Everyone thinks they are Steph Curry or Lebron James and refuse to play any resemblance of team basketball.

same here.
90% of the Park is 6'11" PF's with Kyrie handles and Curry range. And not a single one of them have spent a single attribute upgrade on defense or rebounding.
unless i play with a friend, i am not dealing with that cheese.

I've never really played MyPark. Last year I went to the park a few times and spent 20 mins trying to get on a court and gave up. Is it still like that?

Yeah, the "Got Next" system is broken. Has been for 3-4 years now. It's one of the games biggest problems.
A lot of the people in the Park play 2k solely for that purpose, not that there is anything wrong with that, but Day 1 you'll see maxed out players there. And you get a ranking based on your play, wins, etc. So those who play it every day and are highly ranked don't want to play with a rookie or what is called a "brown shirt". So they'll step on the "got next" spots if a rookie steps in one of the leftover spots.

They are called "dookie suits".
You notice them by their brown shirt and tan pants toting around a 60 overall rating trying to drop the hardcore heads ranking instead of working on improving their player first.
But ya, any player under 80 OVR is molasses and would get waxed by 90% of the MyPark players. Put the work in, then hit the park

(If you're up 10+ at end of half on games in career, sim to the end & still earn coins/stats)

Three games into my career with the bucks and we're 2-1. I need more minutes, and this front office should be fired for drafting me #10 overall with my 59 overall rating. What were they thinking? I also get a laugh everytime I scroll over Thon Makers player card and his college is "none"
