Justice is a 76 overall compared to my 68.


Let's all be honest. Who here goes to every "optional" practice? At first I did, now I got to 1 a day....

I'm in the middle of, I guess an off week, and this shite is a grind fest between team practices and 3 optional practices a day.

Yep I remember last year you couldn't make anything other than a wide open layup starting out. I like when my player gets around being rated 75 because I feel it's a great mix of challenging and my player actually belongs on a NBA team.

He's an 88 on mine. We are about 12 games in. Could be because I go to the gym a lot and he is there. Poor guy is averaging 5 points a game.

Playing franchise with the Celtics and Thomas and Smart are already out 1-2 months by game 3. What the hell.

Anyone know how to see what badges you have?

It says I have a badge, but I can't see which one? I think it's a personality badge

So I may or may not have played ALL day yesterday.

I did. Needed my windshield on my truck replaced to get a new registration sticker. So I set up a Safelight appointment and told my job I needed to work from home. Just so happens, it was on 2k release day and I planned this ahead a month in advance.

Currently 6th man for the Kings.
All-Star difficulty.

Starting to see daylight in MyCareer. First 10-15 games were a shite show. We are in 2nd to last place in the West. I think we have 4, maybe 5, wins on the season thru 20 games. We lose a lot of games in the 4th quarter when Boogie fouls out. My minutes are up to 23 minutes on 8 minute quarters. So I've finally broken the threshold of getting to play quality minutes with the starters, even in the 4th quarter and crunch time. We went thru an early season injury plague, having Garret Temple and Willie Collie Stein out for a couple weeks. The 2nd string was weak AF until they came back. But now, with improved health we are starting to compete with all teams and win more often. We lost a heart-breaker to the Thunder at home at the buzzer.

I'm averaging 8 points, 4.5 assists, and 3 rebounds. Nothing crazy, I have no offensive game except driving to basket and wide open shots. I've invested almost all of my attribute upgrades to Agility, Playmaking, and Defense. Which helps in the sense that I am finally athletic enough to be on an NBA team, but I provide nothing in terms of scoring consistently for an already offensively challenged team.

I signed with Nike, Gatorade, and got a ton of smaller other endorsements that are helping with the VC collection and I usually get 700-1000 VC per game with at least an A-. The storyline is progressing a bit as well. I can now activate "ORANGE JUICE" with 3 assists between me and Justice (which sucks sometimes because we'll get it with 1 minute left in the quarter. And once one of you sits down, it's over). Him and I even had a cut-scene where we talked about if long term the Kings were the right franchise, if we were going to sign an extension, and if they would build the team around us in the future. So, I'm hoping I am only in a 1 year rookie deal and me and Justice can go form a 25 and under Super Team with Big Kat, Wiggins, and Levine in Minnesota. They are making sneaky implications or foreshadowing that there will be a decision on the horizon of me deciding between my friendship with Denver and the connection between Justice and I.

The MyPlayer story-line this year is so much better, I'm actually enjoying it instead of cringing like in 2k16.

Also, haven't seen this "girlfriend" of mine since college. Hope my dude isn't getting blue balls because she's back in college still.

I actually just figured this out the other night after some searching. Press B in MyCareer to get to the menu and I'm pretty sure I found myself on the rookie report and then clicked the right stick in to see the player details. (You can probably go find your player in the team rosters and do the same) Then RT or RB over a couple pages to see attributes and I'm pretty sure they tell you the badges there.
