Not enough elite football recruits in Arkansas and it's way more expensive to field a top football team than basketball. We're never winning a championship again in football. I'd rather concentrate donor money in basketball where we can actually win something than try to do something in football...

To me it seems like either: 1. He had no real intention of coming here but told IU has was visiting here to get more money out of them 2. He was planning on visiting but when IU got wind of it they upped their offer ...
