Damn the WiiU is a cool little system.
Just got back with the Zelda Bundle, MK8, Mario 3D World, 2xPro Controllers and 1 Luigi Wii Remote. We already had a Wii Motion Plus from Skyward Sword.
Only bad decision was purchasing the cheesy ugly arse hell Wind Waker GamePad.

top 3 favorite track for me by far...it's just a lot of fun, but that could change with more online play
I think Electrodrome is my favorite track, love seeing the koopas and shy guys dancing in the club up on the jumbo-tron

I love the using the gamepad. The only thing that sucks is going back to my PS4 controller feels ridiculously small.

Is Nintendo going to do anything about these communication errors?
I went online, spectated an entire race, then raced on Toad's Turnpike, then at the start of the next race was disconnected, now back to spectating another race from the start again.

They are pretty frustrating, but not a huge deal when in the lobby. One way to tell you're about to get a communication error is if everybody in the group has selected a map but the timer keeps ticking. Save some time by backing out while you still have a chance.
The worst was when I got a communication error during the tournament Wednesday. Was 2 seconds away from finishing and got dropped. Counted as a race and got zero points

question....is the demo not a proper way to judge this game? I just went to BB to pick up a MK8 bundle, but they were out. Spent a few minutes playing the demo and was kind of meh.

Yeah, I want to punt people that choose that course online.
And speaking of Rainbow Road, I really wish they have us the option to do 3 laps on that course.

I was in the middle of an asskicking in Yoshi's Valley, and was 4 seconds from crossing the finish line. Got dropped.
