Man all this futuristic shite is for the birds... Glad I switched to battlefield... Is there gonna be a new one soon? The only thing COD has done right in the past 5-6 years has been zombies, and even lately, they've sucked pretty bad

If you google the title, apparently there is recent leaks that the game will include a modern warfare remaster.

I'll buy it for the COD4 remaster
IW can keep Infinite Warfare in the future as long as they take a break from the jumppack/thruster movement system.

DOes that screenshot say it includes COD 4??? I'm buying that in a heartbeat. I'd pay $100 dollars for COD 4/WAW/MW2 in a package together right now and I have them all on PS3.
Also, somebody mentioned zombies earlier, After Blops 1 they butchered zombies completely. WAW and Blops 1 were perfect zombies wise and Blops 2/3 have been unplayable

I like most of the zombie maps except for a few. The problem with the newer maps, just like in the games multiplayer game play, they keep adding more and more crap to it. The best zombie maps and multiplayer game play was simple. Not, I need to grab this wheel and pull this tree branch to make something work shite. People like the Modern warfare's and the world at war games because they were simple and didn't have the money hungry additions added to it. Ex: Crypto Keys, bitch please.

I still have a few questions about this.
How much will they be charging for this legacy edition?
Will COD 4 actually have multiplayer or will it just be the campaign?
Will all of the old map packs be included with this remaster?

The BIG question everyone needs to figure out is will this even play like the old COD4. When they released the Halo Anniversary Edition, everyone thought they were going to get the original CE. It ended up being Halo 4 re-skinned with the old weapons.

I never understood why they just keep changing the setting, but never update the core gameplay to make it better.
Basically all they do now is throw out a new game every year, 20 years further into the future with the same gameplay with a few minor additions.
They would be better served fixing the broken gameplay components and staying based in believable reality instead of booster packs, parkour, and laser guns.

They did change the core gameplay. They changed it a lot. They didn't need to change it. I'd be happy with some form of COD4 or Blops 1 with a never ending sea of maps added regularly.

the gameplay and setting are what ruined COD. This whole future setting is just uninteresting and bland. The campaign is absolute uninteresting trash. I don't find it cool to run on walls and jump with jet boosters or whatever. And the kill streaks are just stupid now.
The simplicity of the gameplay of the earlier COD's made them great games, and better then Battlefield (depending on how you like your shooters). And a more realistic setting is what made them grounded and better than games like Halo or Gears of War to me.

CoD still sells to its current Gen of players. Times change. Us old school CoDooders are the old republican grandparents who do not want to see legal weed, while this generation feels different. If my first online multi experience was Blops 2 or Advance warfare....i know for a fact that it would be the best thing everrrrr omg wtf quickscopes. If they happen to make a CoD 4 type game again all the new kids would be raging because of the lack of this and that. Its life.

What made Ghosts terrible compared to the rest? That's literally the only one I've played and I enjoyed it. Granted, I didn't have any earlier games to compare it to(and I only got it because there was no halo/titanfall/etc out on XB1 at that point).

I also enjoyed ghost. But it also seemed a little dumbed down versus the rest. Probably why it was disliked.
