I just unlocked her. Going to be hard to give up my dog. DD is a beast I take him everywhere. I customized him last night to make him all black and the fake eye. He looks insane.

After playing around 10 hours of this I wondered if Kojima was trolling hard. I previously read that Konami removed all references to Hideo Kojima and Kojima productions on the promotional material and in the splash screens. Meanwhile some reading shows that Hideo Kojima is displayed 105 times before chapter 1 is over and Kojima Productions is displayed 23 times.
I think he wanted to make sure his name was seen.

Any recommended weapons? I've been using mostly silent weapons but trying out some of the heavy machine guns now. The delivery stations are awesome. Good spin on fast travel in a game. Still kind of have to work for it by obtaining the invoices.

I use a silent sniper rifle, grenade launcher, and a SMG that stuns. I use the sniper rifle to execute enemies off by themselves. (Or I put them to sleep. Depending on my objective I may equip the one that tranquilizes.) Then I start to work my way in with the rifle. If things go bad, I pull out the grenade launcher. The SMG is for animals and close up enemies. I don't blow up tanks anymore. I extract every last one, . I could go on and on about my techniques. So much cool shite you can do in this game.

I use tranq pistol and sniper. I also use the initial assault rifle. I have yet to buy any shotguns, grenade launchers, or lmgs.

Just did my first FOB invasion. Got spotted, but succeeded. Dude retaliated, but he got killed before I could jump in myself. It's pretty tense, but I can see it getting old fast. A near gimmick at best.
