I looked last night after a save and saw that I had already played 25 hours. It doesn't feel like I've played for 25 hours so I'll take that as a mark of an enjoyable game. I do wish that they had more new alien species in the game though

Angaren EVERYWHERE. It's kind of disappointing/weird discovering their home planet then 30 minutes later seeing how well integrated their entire race is with the rest of the Nexus crew.
I'm getting overwhelmed with side activities though. It becomes difficult to figure out in what order everything should be done, because I don't want to miss out on anything. I was on the pirate outpost planet and went back up to my ship for the main quest and it triggered a cutscene about going to a planet with a bunch of Krogan for what I assume is a side quest. I spent 2 hours on that planet doing the quest and established a base. For example, will I ever return to this planet as a part of the main story or is it just side content?

Have we started a TD Mass Effect Multiplayer player id list of sorts?
Or those on PC rather, since it's not cross-platform. Just started on Sunday night. Like taking breaks from single player to do an Apex mission. Looking for some regular folks to play.
Currently working a Human Vanguard but will be switching to Krogan vanguard or merc soon has I can get it in a pack.

So none of the side missions/relationships/companion missions/etc are skipped after a certain part of the story? Is there no affect on the main storyline?

I lied. Liam's movie night can't be done after starting the final mission. Not sure about romances but all other "additional tasks"missions can be done

It's mostly when you go to the planet with the pirate base (I can't remember the names of these planets), and the Angaran are hanging out with everybody at the base yet the first time you meet them it feels a lot like first contact.

It's sci fi at some point this has to not bother you
Who all did you guys romance? I fully romanced Peebee, Keri the reporter and the Angara chick you first met on Aya and you get an achievement for fully romancing 3 people

Aside from the voices and acting, I don't understand how outposts couldn't be made successful by the backing of the entire united initiative yet a few outcasts are able to. Not only that, they are capable of interstellar travel, asteroid mining, and apparently providing protection for the initiative while we can't even grow damn crops.

It's shown in the tempest you can grow crops.

There are many things about non Nexus crews that puzzles me. I feel as if it should have been a requirement that anyone on the trip should have been required to assist. But, there are numerous mentions of independent mining operations and companies that are friendly.
With the Angaran speech translation. Everyone has a translator and they also have a simple connection to SAM. When you first landed you couldn't understand them, but I assume SAM was able to decrypt the language and patch it into the translators after a few conversations/orders.
Eta: There a multiplayer thread though it's pretty slow.

How do you establish an outpost on Kadara? I've done everything, but it just says "work with Reyes." Does this come later in the story?

"Work with Reyes" Bang him and you should be good to go.

Ok I am about 15 hours in and I can say this game is mildly fun but 90% of the mechanics are shite, at this point I am only playing to finish it. The side quests are tedious and not compelling, the "boss" fights are random to complete depending on where it spawns, the characters are ugly. This is a $25 game at best and I loved the first three.
Unlike other game I have no desire to 100% this game, the endless dialog s and conversation choices bore me. This game is disjointed, even the crafting is more confusing/difficult than the last games.

I didn't listen to my gut and cancel after the preview. I had tried to make myself believe this is a good game b/c I pre-ordered it like a dumbass. As a game, it is ok, like 7/10 but as a mass effect game it is not good. Bad dialog, bad animation, getting stuck in terrain, crashes, terrible pointless fetch quests that zigzag across the galaxy with unskippable cutscenes. This game really bums me out, I love ME and I wanted so bad for this hand to be awesome. I know some people enjoyed it and that's fine, but I didn't.
Also it is annoying that the game doesn't alert you when an area can be mined for resources /s

Pushed through and finished with about 21 hours played, there is zero reason to do side quests because they don't matter. Ubi and EA are still putting out shite, I am done with their game until they are on sale.

So does this take away the sting of 3's ending.
Only problem with 3 was the final 3 minutes.
