Is this just online play that isn't working or am I not going to be able to access my cloud saved offline franchise?

While enjoying it, there's some major flaws with it. Waaaaay too many big name rookies sitting in free agency for some reason. That is one of my biggest peeves with this game.

Turn the running on manual. I hated the game until I did that. On auto/assisted, you have to play a fricking guessing game to run. What type of shite is that Madden? It felt like I was playing WWE Everytime I ran
I have Leonard Fournette as my running back. And I was having trouble gaining anymore than 3 yards per carry. Occasionally broke one off to break 100 yards in a game. But once I put it on Manual..... I was getting 200+ yards easily.

Is this why my rb randomly does a spin move while I'm trying to run north and south?
Nothing pisses me off more than when it's 3rd and 2 and I hit a hole full speed ahead and my guys does a damn juke move and gets 1 1/2 yards vs the 2 1/2 I would have gotten. I always thought it was me hitting something without realizing because it doesn't always happen.

Yes. The final straw for me was when I was down 24-20. 4th and 2 from the opponent's 35 yard line. I pitch it to fournette. I have the corner. I have all the room I could possibly want. And the B button pops up and he spins right into 2 defenders. So I lost. I didn't press a single button. fricking stupid. I wish I would've seen the option to turn it off sooner. It cost me a super bowl.

I put mine on manual every game in my offline dynasty. I wish it would just default to manual, so I didn't have to change it every game.

Go to settings then team settings. You can set it in there.

Yeah. Do it in the main menu and it should be permenant. Check out other settings too. I toggled a few and now I'm in love with the game.

This is only my 3rd Madden that I truly played all the way....I'm REALLY disappointed in this one.

They patched the run/pass glitch and fixed the insane amount of fumbles forced by the CPU

How is this fun? It's not realistic at all. I guess if you're into arcade football then it's fun. When I play Madden, I enjoy the realism of it more than getting 200 years per game.

I'm really digging the player development system. Having to do the game prep every week last year was like watching paint dry. And it barely gave any XP.
I've been using the play the moment thing a good bit and the supersim is still kinda screwy. Had a game where my team turned the ball over 5 times in one quarter. Another one it didn't give me an option to take over till almost halftime and Mariota had only thrown like 5 passes to Henry's 20 something rushes. Really wish there was a way to change the simulation run/pass balance.

That's my biggest complaint as someone who likes to sim multiple seasons. They took it out in Madden 13 and haven't brought it back since. Real dumb. Too much emphasis on online features they forgot some offline dudes (or online in leagues that don't play every game?) like to have control without playing.
