The AAA multiplats on PC is fine and all but they might be optimized for consoles and run smoother now that both big boys are x86

Watchdogs is a good example of what could happen to multiplats that end up on PC

It could just be the exception too.

x86 consoles is a positive for PC, since console ports should run more smoothly, especially once the next-gen titles stop getting made for PS3/360.

Watch Dogs is the exception. Or rather, Ubisoft is.

It's worth noting that people aren't complaining about running Watch Dogs as well as consoles, they are just mad that it is challenging to run it better than consoles. 30 fps were easy for me, it took some work for me to get 60fps.

Yeah, and my complaint was that I couldn't max out the textures on a 290 at 1440p and still get 60fps.

PCers really do tend to exaggerate.
We say a game is broken because we can't get what we want, not because it doesn't work. It would be more accurate for us to say it is a poor port that doesn't allow you to reap the benefits of a pc. I guess it's just easier to flip out.

I'm curious how this will effect titles already out from a technical standpoint. If they left the frame rate unlocked, will it be higher now? Will it possible have screen tearing issues for games that didn't have that power? I'm just curious to know.

Wrong person to ask. I have no idea how that would work

In relation to this thread there is a nice "timed exclusity" line under all that exclusive stuff...

I wonder if they could do it with downloaded games. Revamp the games graphics and maybe have people redownload the game.

I've had to correct like 3 different posters on here who thought Destiny was a Sony exclusive.
