Change the damn thread title it's misleading.

The only reason I clicked the thread is bc I thought it was implying it's running higher than the ps4 version.

No shite it's running at higher res with all those kinect resources freed up

It would only be newsworthy if it wasn't

The problem is you got to have both a pc and a console. Otherwise you lose out on console exclusives.

Which explain?

Most are multiplats now and Drake doesn't interest me. IDT the exclusive tag holds true and any gamer outside of 24 for the most part gave up on sports games already.

I own multi PCs, PS4 and WiiU and feel like the Wii U offers more than the PS4 does in experience at this point IF you have a PC for the graphical titles.

Shtt it is misleading huh?

XBONE runs at 2560x1440 while PS4 sits in 2011 @ 1920x1080.

That would be something, wouldn't it?

Considering the wiiU has been out two years and the ps4 is barely over 6 months old and giving credit to nintendo's LEGENDARY first party titles I would hope so.

Get back to me in. 2016 when the ps4 turns two years and u have all sonys first party titles plus the multiplat AAA games out and let's see where we stand.

I grew up with Nintendo, I'm a gamer first and I play all platforms, started on NES and PC..

Nintendo is it's own thing and I think honestly doesn't compete directly with sony or microsoft. I know it seems that way.

Mario Bros was 1983, Zelda was 1985, I think Nintendo is almost immortal but they are their own niche market and it works very well for them.

I will, because those AAA games will be played on PC.

Again, it offers more of an experience over PS4/XBONE IF you have a PC for graphical titles.

Not saying it competes head-to-head but it does engage more with the gamepad. The other 2 console are still traditional consoles with 2nd rate graphics, same controller and play style.

Please re-read my posts.

No I get it, honestly I started my post with a clear point then I think I started rambling and once I started tbinkng about Nintendo nostalgia I lost that post entirely, I almost deleted it and gave up.

The AAA multiplats on PC is fine and all but they might be optimized for consoles and run smoother now that both big boys are x86

Watchdogs is a good example of what could happen to multiplats that end up on PC

It could just be the exception too.

Either way Sony's new exclusive IPs to me surpass Nintendo just bc I'm older now and prefer maturer games.

Stuff like TLOU, 1886, bloodborne, uncharted (I know but really everyone should be wondering what naughty dog does AFTER UC4) and they still have things in their pocket like the GOW team/games and whatever the Atlus people might be up to.

Sorry I'm ranting again

PS4 and PsVita remote play actually stand out more to me (every ps4 game can be remote played on vita, anywhere u have wifi) than nintendo's gamepad offering.

Add the PSTV console to the mix later this year and psNow, sony is just on a different level and it will come apparent more with time

Why would they try to go higher than 1080p ?

Stop and think for a second

You people must be confused. Never have I really participated in any thread where I tried to speak of something without knowledge. It's the reason I stay out of the PC threads for the most part.

I assumed I would buy a monitor for a computer.

I need to purchase a Vita. Playing LBP3 remotely sounds really fun.

Actually gave praise to Sony for the things they are doing outside of traditional gaming in the E3 thread. They offer and starting to offer even more outside of Microsoft. Even if the PS TV seems silly, its is still trying. The VR, TV and Vita remote access are all steps in the right direction.

Their E3 gave me a little more confirmation that in Novemeber I made the right choice in choosing a PS4 over a XBONE. Going into the launches I was all XBONE for the TV/Media abilities but purchased a PS4 because it came first. Seems like it will pay off a lot more.

EDT: Again you are thinking im talking about direct Wii U vs PS4 in direct compitition, i'm not. Reason I have stated multiple times that PC + Wii U is the best gamer combo, 2 different experiences which compliment each other. Now I do wish the nVidia Shield would work outside of the host PCs network, but nVidia has to get the Grid setup first, then by that time we will all be cloud computing anyway.

You play Pokemon too? I know you own a Poke-Machine but didn't think you played.

EDT:
I should have purchased when they offered this thing for $99 w/ the purchase of a new GPU.

LINK

Shtt, watching the video on the NewEgg page and I guess you can stream Via the internet on another Network via WiFi.

I thought it was limited to the local network of the host computer, but I guess not. Maybe I read the latency is a bitch, guess that is how I came to that absolute decision it can't stream outside LAN of the host.

EDT 2:
Okay, just read a review and at launch it was LAN only but an update was pushed in May allowing WAN streaming from your PC to the Shield.

So the shield has the same capabilities as the Vita now?

Well the problem with that is you have to be near a network. If I leave the house and have my 3DS I am usually no where near interenet.

I have never played Pokeman btw

Good. I'm about to just unplug my kinect anyways. Getting tired of it watching me

Can this be done to get the boost? Or do we have to purchase the upcoming XB1 that is kinect free?

Neither. It has nothing to do with unplugging the kinect, but removing a requirement that devs had to set aside some assets for the Kinect.

If you downloaded the most recent update you are set. You can keep the Kinect plugged in.

I'm curious how this will effect titles already out from a technical standpoint. If they left the frame rate unlocked, will it be higher now? Will it possible have screen tearing issues for games that didn't have that power? I'm just curious to know.
