Yeah never mind. It must just be an introductory thing for new players. Once you finish that first mission it takes you to the tower from D2.

The peak player count keeps rising. Currently at 215K. I assume it'll get worse over the course of the evening as more people get off work.

Oh in the past bungie has never had to take he game down for emergency maintenance on launch day that I can remember. There were queues to login and that is to be expected, but I’ve day one’d them all until this one and I’ve been following along throughout the day and the amount of hiccups has been nothing short of incredible.

Why should I expect to que to play a game?
Priority should be given to contuing players who purchased the game through blizzard.
