Are you guys playing with your existing characters? So they just boosted everything to 750? I feel OP and I'm just tearing through these first DLC missions.. seems unfair.

Yes and yes. The campaign has never been a struggle and some op weapons like riskrunner make it stupid easy against hive. Just let a thrall hit you and go to town

which DLC are we talking? If you're talking the dlc before shadowkeep, yea you will be very OP at 750 now. Destiny story missions have never been extremely challenging. They have moments if you are under level or just at the level, but they are meant to be replayed some.

Yeah I'm doing Curse of Osiris and Warmind, and may get Forsaken and Shadowkeep on a sale. Do you guys on here have a Clan?

I think there is a TD clan but is not very active. There really arent a whole lot of benefits from joining a clan, but if you post your gamertag/steamID I can send you an invite to the clan I am in that has a decent amount of followers.

I just want to be in a clan that has a lot of active people like you say for doing group activities. This seems like a game that is fun with more people. I played through the base story on Battle.net but no one I knew ever had this game. I did the bare minimum and just beat the story. Now I kind of want to get into more of the activities the game offers. That's the only way Forsaken/Shadowkeep even seem worth it. Doesn't appear any of these expansions ever offered many actual missions?

Steam name is kaMMakaZZi9

There is a campaign to Forsaken and it is pretty good. It also introduces a bunch of other quests and exotics. Destiny does a great job with offering you dozens of ancillary quests, hidden exotic quests and activities. Although most of these quests are probably offered to you right off the bat now that it is F2P.

So Bungie once again barely added any new loot for a DLC of this size. Basically 6 new sets per class (1 of these being eververse only) and 1 new exotic per class.

Pretty disappointing especially since majority of Warlock armor still looks like shite.

Eververse micro transactions are gonna get out of hand quick.

I enjoyed Forsaken. I thought it was fun and interesting. I haven’t played through Shadowkeep yet but the Moon is cool ( I did not play D1). The menus are easier to navigate now. The Strikes are a bit more challenging now that they are 750 and I did an Ordeal as well. I got the Ace of Spades catalyst. That was cool. I plan to do more tonight.

D1 at its peak was an incredible game. Not sure how Shadowkeep will turn out, but compared to everything before it with D2, the second installment has been complete shite.

I don't really care for new gear. There are so many different activities you can do with friends the fact that they didn't add dozens of new armor sets does not bother me. Besides there will be new seasons with new armor sets in each. You are just looking for the instant gratification.

I feel like a lot of people say they want this, but I’ve never been intrigued by this either.

As long as there is repetitive, fun and challenging content that rewards you accordingly I have been interested in playing.

This is one reason I loved D1 with the non-static rolls. I spent probably 70 hours grinding for a certain gun in the crucible and never regretted the work I put in, especially after I got it.

Another thing I hate is how Bungie stopped making content challenging. At some point they decided it was better to make everything attainable for everyone regardless of how much they played or their skill level. That’s my biggest gripe with the direction of the game.

Holy shite playing on PC vs PS4 is insanely better. 144 FPS... I just wish I could bring over Forsaken to Steam, but I guess it doesnt matter. Gonna purchase shadowkeep on PC and go on here from now on.

Had a stream going last night while I worked on some things. I haven't played D2 since curse of Osiris which had to be the most disappointing DLC since House of Wolves. They really had you fight a giant blender with wings who just lets you wail on him.... that was the boss. WTF.

Its nice seeing the moon reskinned and the new sections look nice.

He means you can't buy it on a console and get the PC version for free (or vice versa). He has to buy the DLC on PC.

This game has always seem a bit convoluted to me.. I never got into the gear aspects which I know is the main draw. Basically what I am getting at here is, how do I make my character not look like shite with tacky mismatched armor?

All the armors have sets. But the overall answer is shaders. Treat yo self and look fabulous.

Although I don't play this game anymore so I may not be current.
