Actually they may have publishing issues with that. They also may not want to run the servers for it.

I know Sony published it in Japan and Atlas did in the US. I don't know the full story but i believe those issues are why we never saw Demon's souls 2.

Not sure. I skipped origins but want to play it before the new one even though it is not rocksteady.
Want to try demon souls because everyone is talking about bloodborn and I don't want to spend the money if I don't know I'll like it.
