I just started playing that last night. Had the same feeling. Playing as the Rebellion is pretty awesome. I don't mind playing as the empire but it isn't nearly as fun as playing as the Rebel scum.
Just as fun as supremacy.

Have not picked up destiny in weeks, just bought battlefront, rainbow six and blops 3 the other day. I am multiplayered up for the new year.

I wasn on the fence about the game, but finally decided to pick it up. I've never really played the other SW games, but I'm a big SW fan.
I really enjoy it, the only thing that I have a problem with so far it the shooting aspect and weapon choices.
I feel like I put 3-4 blasts in someones chest and I still end up losing the 1v1 matchup.
I've found success with the OP close range blaster on some maps, but for the open maps I haven't found my niche yet.
I've taken note on some of the blasters of people who constantly take me down, but they are down the level tree a bit (I'm only level 10 so far).
I've really only dove into Blast because of the amount of time I've had to play. Which are the more popular/most fun game modes you guys have played?
I pretty much feel this is a Battlefield game in Star Wars theme, which is fine to me.

Tips:
Use the imperia blaster. It is by far the best. It works well at range and close. The t-412B or whatever it is is pretty good, but the slower rate just isn't worth it right now as the imperial blaster is OP as hell right now.
Switch to 3rd person. Aiming just works better. It also ices you the ability to look around corners without being seen. My K/D skyrocketed once I made the switch.

Yea, third person is the way to go. I don't get the hate for this game its fun as hell. Supremacy is the go to game of choice to level up quick. Turning point is also pretty good. The only bad thing is being a storm trooper on endor. You stick out so easily compared to the rebels.

I hate playing on Endor. Hate it. Pretty much the only time I'll play on Endor is if I'm with the Rebels on Walker Assault. Unless you have a shite arse squad, you can destroy the AT-AT by the end of the second bomb run.
I love the Turning Point map on Jakku though. I make a killing as the Empire when you get down to the final checkpoint. I've been on two squads that were complete shite through the first 3 "turning points" and both times we made it through on the last one. First time we had to hold out for 9 minutes 4 seconds. We barely held on and honestly if they had another 30-45 seconds we wouldn't have made it. The second time, we held out for over 10 minutes. They didn't get a single second of capture time. Not a single second. The Force was Strong with us. I love that on the Jakku Turning Point match that there are no heroes/villains, the Empire does get AT-STs but no aerial vehicles and the Rebels do get aerial vehicles. Makes it more balanced. I will say this though. On that final checkpoint, they do need to have the Rebel spawn points be closer to the final check point. It seems like you are always 120meters or more out, and one time I started 150 meters out. They should put you at about 100 meters out. Under 2 minutes and it goes to 75 meters.
