You're not alone. The imperial standard E-11 is so OP I think. Long enough range to beat out blaster pistols. In a close range face off, the combination of firing speed and power beats out most weapons.
I almost always lose to that weapon in a face off when I'm using a rapid fire weapon or a heavy, slow rate of fire weapon. it's so versatile.

Yea, I can't find a good combination for me yet. I don't see how these people are having like 30 and less than 10 games. Can't get much better than a 1.0 to 1.25 spread ever. I just can't seem to find any consistency in what is and is not a hit, but obviously it is there. Just a lot better people at it than me right now
Eta: this game is definitely going to make me break a controller. There is just no consistency on what is and isn't a hit. If someone isn't moving and the reticule is red, every shot should be a hit, but it isn't.

I will say, I made the switch over to 3rd person and was doing much better

I've been playing Blast almost exclusively the last couple of days. I've settled on a loadout of the E11, impact grenade and homing shot. For me, the E11 is perfect to cover my arse close and mid range. The homing shot is just ridiculous. I highly suggest equipping it and upgrading it as soon as you can to reduce the cooldown time. Between it and the impact grenade I consistently have the most explosive kills almost every round I play.
Someone gave a great tip earlier ITT to use the scout trait. It's awesome being able to run all over the battlefield without being detected on the radar.
Drop zone is fun as shite too. I spam my jet pack and personal shield to get as many activation as I can. My K/D suffers for it but it's so much fun

Yea, that impact grenade is pretty clutch. I like the homing shot on some maps, but others it is too easy to duck into cover to avoid it. I think the biggest thing that helped was switching to 3rd person. Aiming seems to be much more forgiving, which is odd.

Supremacy is so much fun.
One thing I've noticed is they don't balance teams after a match. So if you lose, quit out. Otherwise you will keep losing with the same bad team. Likewise, if you win, it's good to ride that out for a while:

I've started getting the hang of it, and it has been a lot of fun. Really liking Supremacy and Walker Assault. Fighter Squadron isn't bad either, just very one sided. As i've said earlier, switching to 3rd person completely changed the game for me. The controls and recognition just isn't tight enough for the 1st person view. Game is still very incomplete, but it is definitely fun. Still needs a story mode or at least the Galactic Conquest.
Also, they better release more Heroes & villains soon. The fact they didn't start with continuing the all our heroes vs villains brawl from Battlefront 2 is still their biggest mistake.

I found that the best way to increase kills for me us the power ups. Hero cards guarantee a +20 for the round for me. With Luke or boba fett, I can go on 20-30 kill runs

Boba Fett is easily the best of the heroes/villains. He's so overpowered and his jetpack is legit.

There are places you can jump to with Boba Fett where people can't get to you. I've seen some people go on ridiculous streaks doing that.

WTF is with this pistol. I stay getting one tapped by it. I forget the name of it but i think its the last gun unlocked. Like really.....literally had a 3 against 5 last night and two of the guys on the other team had them and they just destroyed my team.

The DL-44. I think it's a two-hit kill at any reasonably close distance. I didn't do well with it because of the range, and I don't play the game modes with close-quarters maps.

I don't know. Two of her special moves are offensively useless (the shield and health drops). I always pick Han or Boba.
The single-player challenges offer good practice with the heroes, though.

Just realized I have 24 hours already played on this game and I don't feel like I do at all. I take breaks during the day from work and play a game or two though so I guess that adds up.

So the Battle of Jakku is chaotic as hell. I haven't had a chance to play it as the Empire yet, but my experience as a rebel makes it like an Edge of Tomorrow simulator.
