Assuming ave pub gets a return visit, zwanze day is september 20th, same day as the moo state game.

Me, Ham, R2R, Wise, O Brah, and a few others tried to make it to Zwanzee day last year. Was too packed. We had our own beer day at R2R's.
Hopefully his old lady goes out of town again this year and we can repeat.

Never been to the event, but based on how many people were there, I liked our event better.

ETA: Meeting Glass at 8 am for drinks was the highlight

Was he drunk at that point? The first time I met Ham, he got hammered and I think he ironed a shirt(not on a yeti) before he went out.
Maybe he's a drunk ironer?
Also, I would love to do Zwanze day at Jester King. I'm sure the lines are terrible, but at least you're outside enjoying the hill country.

Meh, JK can't legally sell any Cantillon beers because they aren't licensed in Texas. They had to give away the Zwanze pour and didnt have any other loons. Whereas, Polly has kegs of several other loons and breaks out lots of bottles from her cellar (Lou pepe Kriek, Lou pepe framboise, fou foune, etc). Like rutiger said, if you love these type of beers, it's like Christmas.
I talked to several people that day from Austin and other parts of Texas who still came to avenue pub over jester king. (They were easy to spot in their shiny, new Atrial Rubicite shirts)
