have never had Sam's pizza. Can see no reason to try it
it's so fricking good
I believe you, but I have this obsession with Sam's HotDogs. At $1.70 for a dog and drink it is the best meal value in Meridian (maybe anywhere), and the wife loves me so much she is willing to humor me by allowing me to have my way when I tell her I must have one.

1. Onions
2. Thick and chewy
3. Pepperoni and onion is delicious
4. Ground beef
5. I'm a pizza minimalist. Give me a chewy pizza with only cheese on top cooked to a golden brown that is liberal with the red sauce and I'm in heaven
It's hard to find a good pizza.

5 - Shakey's shrimp and sausage from a long long time ago (mid 1960s) very thin, very crispy with air pockets in crust, topped with Italian sausage, red sauce cheese and small shrimp. I haven't seen a Shakey's Pizza Parlor in years. Are there any still around? Any recommendations on finding this pizza?
There is a Shakey's Pizza Parlor in Auburn, AL

Random, but killer toppings are Gyro mean and Feta Cheese. Give it a try when you get a chance.

1. Crumbled Italian sausage
2. Thin. Can be crispy or chewy (as long as I am not biting into it and tearing like a wolf over a carcass).
3. Single or one or two more toppings (usually a meat then maybe some garlic or grape tomato). I'm not a big fan of "4 meat pizza" or supreme pizza. Anytime I have to pick up the pizza any keep it from just falling apart because it's too heavy from topping overload is a bad thing.
4. I usually dislike toppings that don't work with a pizza. For example, barbeque chicken is not a topping I want on my pizza. Also, an over easy egg isn't something I want on my pizza.

Canadian Bacon
Thin and soft or deep dish
multiple
anchovies, onions (they're never cooked enough), the sausage that most chain pizza places use
I had it once, on top of Mt. Titlis in Switzerland.

The hate for olives on here breaks my heart. When I was a kid I would actively refuse to eat unless there were olives on my plate. I still love them, especially on pizza.

1. Italian sausage
2. Thin and crispy
3. My "multiple" toppings are italian sausage and pepperoni. I don't like all that other stuff, although I do like jalapeños on it occasionally.
4. Olives, onions, bell peppers, all those veggies.
5. I had some awesome pizza that I got when I went to the LSU BCS game in New Orleans in '07. It was near the Ramada on Bourbon street. I remember it being out of a little aluminum temporary building, like something you'd see at a fair. You walked to the window and told the guy what you wanted.
The slices were huge, they were thin but so awesome. It's the closest thing I found to pizza I got in Philly or NYC down here. I looked for that place when we went back in '11 but it was gone. It was a parking lot, I think.
