Tyler's- Amarillo, Tx

Haven't tried BBQ in all parts of Texas but would definitely recommend the sliced brisket at Tyler's. Very good

Jack Stack- Kansas City

A little pricey but very good all around. Burnt ends were my favorite

Rudy's wet brisket is phenomenal for a chain.

Forgot, I love Rendezvous in Memphis. Some may not like dry rub ribs, but I love them.

Lockhart's Smokehouse - Dallas
Bone Daddy's House of Smoke - Dallas
Salt Lick - Driftwood (Austin) and Round Rock

Edit ... Rudy's will do in a pinch, all over the San Antonio area - but don't compare to the 3 above.

Dreamland.

I stop there to and from Nashville when driving from BR. Have made that trip so many times. Dreamland is the highlight
