Maybe your secret ingredient, methods, whatever.

No seasoning in the water, just on the outside and let em sit in an ice chest for an hour or more.

I don't know about any particular one thing to do but
- Season the damn water prior to boiling
- shut off the boil once the crawfish start floating
- soak for 20-30 minutes
- add your corn after you shut off the boil
- add your salt after you shut off the heat
and most importantly
- Let someone else do it!

Great tip. Delicious. I put them in a mesh sack in the boil to keep them from disintegrating. Same with Brussels Sprouts

i always use the ice method but this is my second full season and I want to cut this method out.
I usually let them boil for 2-3 minutes. Cut it and dump a bag or 3\4th of a bag in it.
If i cut it after 2 or 3 minutes, and put frozen corn in there, will they peel just as good?

What is the best way to get the tails to soak up flavor?
Posted on 3/1/17 at 2:59 pm to ShrevePolitics
Sous vide then add Ruby red grapefruit juice

Entire jar of jalapeños. Not the gallon jar, but about a 12oz or so.

I rarely let it boil for longer than a minute. If I do it's cause I am drunk and stopped paying attention.
I dump the corn in and stir the pot to release some of the heat.

I need to get my hands on some of that. When do you normally add it? In coon I trust.
