Good for Cory. There aren't many chefs who could stay motivated serving food to people in Monroe, but he has managed to keep some fresh ideas coming out.

Food in South Arkansas is typically so sub-par that when something decent is brought to the area, it's a god-send.

I do not understand the disdain Southern La folks have for North La. Sure it's different culturally and the south has the most population, but that doesn't equal a reason to be bitter. Yeah there are alot of Baptist Bible thumpers, but so what. I've partied just as hard in the north as the south
For Monroe to be condemned for having such good food, jealousy?, it should be something to be proud of by all Louisianaians. We are very fortunate to have the abundance of culinary delights state-wide. I'm proud to be a Louisianian, doesn't matter the direction
