Who spends $6.49 on a pint of ice cream.

I saw people saying how great it is, and was interested in a low fat, low carb and low calorie high protein ice cream myself that tastes good. I go to Whole Foods and see $6.49, frick that shite, I already think $4 pints from Ben & Jerry's is stretching it.

Is Halo one of those non dairy ice creams? I bought a brand of ice cream sandwiches at Wal-Mart called "So Delicious" - the box said non-dairy, made with coconut milk, only 90 calories. So I thought I'd give it a try, and they were god-awful. And definitely not "so delicious".

It's on sale at Kroger for $3.99 right now. I plan on trying it.

I get it at Kroger for 4 dollars a pint
Got to let it sit out for 10 mins
Once it softens up it's pretty good

This. I rarely buy ice cream, so when I do, I tend to gravitate toward a more premium brand. When you rarely purchase something like that, you generally are not too price sensitive.

can't eat regular ice cream on my low carb diet. It's nice to be able to have something when I get a bad craving. Sure it's expensive, but it's also a treat. I'll buy a few pints and have it last a while and then not have any ice cream for months. When I'm being a fatty, I'll eat chocolate ice cream almost nightly, so the cravings can hit pretty hard sometimes and it's nice to have something like that to enjoy. I do wish it was cheaper though, but the only place I can get it over here is from Whole Foods, so a premium is paid.

this. It's a rare commercial item that fits low-carb macros. The other options are So-Delicious, Arctic Zero, and sugar-free Jello.

$6.50 is high. Rouses has them for $4.99 usually.

Came home to 4 pints in our freezer because Whole Foods had "new flavors out"...

Arse is coming for ya. He loves this stuff.

I bought two pints a few weeks ago to try them out. Yes, there were too damn expensive, but I had to test.

It was fine, but the whole taking it out to let it melt a little stuff is ridiculous. Probably won't but again unless it's on sale.

I pop mine in the microwave for a few seconds.

I mean, I do that with regular ice cream as well if I ever have it.

The new peanut butter is legit. Not worth 6.49 but 4-5.50 is worth it as a diet ice cream that tastes good.

I've never tried it but if it would help with weight management and actually tastes that good I might try it. I don't keep ice cream around often enough for that expense to add up.
