Do yall use bitters for your juleps? I've seen some recipes with it and some without. Guess I'll do a side by side?

They have mint bitters that can add a nice touch to them and take away some of the sweetness.

When you are planting cotton during the Derby and you did not plan ahead you have to go with a premix.

Fee Brothers also make Cardamom Bitters that put a nice twist on a Julep.

FPD - mix of lemonade shine and sweet tea.

I've never had a mint julep (or even an old fashioned), but I obviously enjoy whiskey neat. Should that correlate to liking a mint julep or old fashioned? I really have no idea what it would taste like.
