Dr. Beardface - what are your thoughts on the cured oak? I lucked in to some but haven't tried it yet.

It's horrible. I'll trade you some Benchmark for it.

Considering the insane secondary prices, it looks like I'll only get a Cured Oak if I luck into one.

Oh well, FPD: EH Taylor Old Fashioned Sour Mash

I've decided that I'm not paying outrageous secondary prices for new releases. I will, however, gladly pay for venerable old bottles like Old Grand Dad from the National Distillers days, Stitzel Weller juice, or old Wild Turkey.

Great whiskey. Lots of black cherry on the nose with some spearmint, plum, and vanilla bean. Taste starts with the sweet fruits, mid palate with cinnamon and caramel and finish was long with the sweeter vanilla and cinnamon notes. Highly recommended (if you can find or afford it).

Where do people even post this stuff for secondary sale? Is there a site or message board or something? Just curious to see what people are trying to charge. Thanks

I'll share my most recent purchases. I'm a rookie. I tried to resize. Didn't work and this has already taken up too much of my time.
