We need to buy up all that 2012 Lot. 40 and then make the whole world realize what they missed out on. Creat the hype, then flip it haha.

On a side note has anyone in Texas ever seen this stuff? Apparantly the only barrels released were given to TX distributors. Crown was my first love, I have since branched out, but I try to get a bottle of everything they have to offer (with the exception of the apple one)

There's tons of this at my local shop, not sure on the year though. I was always curious about it but I usually don't go rye except for older expressions and mixed drinks.

I've just pretty much been a lurker/admirer of this thread for a while. Anyone ever have a anejo old fashioned? I had one the other night where they used Espolon Anejo (aged in bourbon barrels) tequila, and it was amazing.

Everybody has been talking up the Lot 40 in here so I decided to pick some up today. I was at the counter paying for it and the owner, who I know real well, rings it up and says that will be 132.50. I said damn that's kind of high. He laughed and said oh I went ahead and rang this up to for you. He reaches under the counter and pulls out the E.H. Taylor. I asked him if the box was under there and he told me not to get greedy.
I just tried the Lot 40 and I will buy it again but I think I like the Woodford Rye better.

Yes, I see it at a few places around here and my cousin received a bottle from a buddy. I can't really comment on it though because I haven't tried it. I'd guess it's probably fairly decent.

Names/Location of the stores? Trying to find someone that will ship me a bottle since its a TX exclusive and I don't have any trips over there planned anytime soon. I appreciate it.

Nice score on the Cured Oak. Seems like it's going to be very limited. It's going for almost as much as the Tornado Surviving one already.

When ya'll talk about these prices they are going for, is there like some kind of online Bourbon exchange that I am unaware of? Thanks

FPD: Glenfiddich 12 - flight is delayed, Scotch seems like a good idea.
