Nice lineup lsufan! As for the 15s I don't think there's much that will get me to get rid of them. It would truley take a sum of $ that no one would spend on it. I really plan to drink every bit of it slowly. Might think about the 23s if there still arround way down the line after 2014 but there's no plans.

Thebeard...did I read some pages ago you were looking for a Thomas handy?

NOLAGT...I understand on the Pappy 15. You said maybe 23 down the line. I'm willing to do a multi bottle trade and or thow in some $$$ for one if I have anything that you are interested in. One of my Pappy 20's is a 2011 bottled for the UK market so it is Stitzel Weller juice and very hard to find.

Let me clarify...I'd let go a 23 for thousands...meaning I don't really want to get rid if them...but I never say never lol

Thousands? Wow! $700 is the going rate on the BX. I don't blame you. I have a hard time letting go of any of my bottles as well.

Question for y'all, is 4 roses supposed to have another special release this year?

Yes. They've already released the single barrel and should have the small batch soon in the fall.

Yea just read that that's why I edited out that question but thanks. One of my places was telling me they were expecting some and it threw me off because I knew one had happened already.

This thread doesn't usually make me sad. You guys are talking about Pappy 23, Hirsch 16, and multiple bottles of Stagg. Then I come in like a fricking goober, "hey, did you guys hear about that wild turkey they fricked up?"

I'll just be over here hanging my head in shame.

Don't get me wrong guys. Those bottles are only for special occasions. For every day drinking I go to Weller 12, Elmer T. Lee, Four Roses SB & 1B, Bookers.

Really? Been a while since I had some knob creek but I wonder why the switch to twist. What's next...a box?

I have probably bought 50 bottles of Knob Creek this year and only ONE was a cork, the rest were twist. BTW you have a VERY nice collection but I would still put Knob Creek up against anything. Just my opinion though!

A $230 bottle retail for resale more then $1000 is crazy. I see this same kind of thing on the BX everyday. I inquired about a 4R limited small batch 2012 and the person responded with $250. I asked if this was a gold plated bottle? Prices are outrageous

what all have you tried other than knob creek? knob aint bad stuff but there is far better. You're comparing knob creek to some of the most acclaimed whiskeys in the world
