Just pored me some Noah Mills and thought I'd snap a pic of my unorganized home cabinet.

I haven't had the rye yet so I have some coming. As for wlw and stagg I'm always looking for that too lol. I do have my feelers out for the stagg JR that should be out some time soon.

The VW Reserve Rye is extremely good...in a Pappy flight I did, I actually preferred it to whatever year's bottle of 15 they were pouring out of. (Flight was PVW 15, 12 yr Rye & ORVW 12)...

The JPS 18 bottle I got through BX arrived today, so sampling that tonight

Lol maybe I don't want to know, because it may also cost me a few grand.

I just got word I'm first on a list at one of my places for Stagg Jr woohoo. Glad I saw it mentioned in this thread.

Buffalo Trace just broke ground on an experiential warehouse

All of this is part of our quest to make the perfect bourbon, our search for the “Holy Grail.” One day industry experts will agree, but so far the perfect bourbon has yet to be made. So join us now as we go on our journey to discover it.

love how BT is trying new ideas... they will hit the jackpot eventually. ive tasted 1 or 2 of the single oak project and they were good. the 1 experimental series i tried though was not, but they admit that.

BX can be gouge city if you're not doing your research, but you do come across reasonable deals from time to time like I did...

I finished a bottle of JPS17 (Batch 3) that finished as clean as any whiskey I've had...Currently have JPS18 (Batch 10) in the decanter from last fall...little more oaky than the 3rd batch, slightly more bite.

This new one is Batch 13...tried just a tiny bit last night...my initial reaction is that this has a little deeper flavor profile, not quite as clean as the early batches, little longer oak burn on the tongue...will enjoy it.

No more BX purchases for me...I'm happy with this one because it's sentimental, but I'll be searching the shelves an making calls to contacts...

I decided to take my Louisville based boss up on his offer. I told him I want Stagg Jr when it is available this month. If he comes through, I may have to get him to find me some really hard to get stuff.

I was told the same thing last week. second half of August, maybe first week of Sept before it really starts hitting shelves.

NOLAGT...I grew up going to The Goldmine as well. What is it going to take to get one of those Pappy 15's from you. See my picture below of unopened bottles in my bunker.

Not pictured: Angels Envy, 4 bottles of Elmer T. Lee, 1 bottle of Weller 12
