I've heard great things but haven't had a chance to try any high west. Bourye at $80 is a good pick up on trade value alone. Supposed to be really good juice.

Damn, I guess I don't really need to post here anymore. After all, lately I seem to just be repeating half the things you say.

Don't think this has been talked about in here yet. But do you guys know if this is true or not:
My friend over the weekend told me he is collecting the Blanton's tops and if you spell the whole name and send it into the company, they will frame it for you and send it back?
True or false???

I was just looking at the what beers are in your fridge thread, and I thought, why not do the same with whiskey. So, what's in your cabinet, bunker, etc.?

Bourbons:

EH Taylor Small Batch
EH Taylor Warehouse C Tornado Surviving (2)
VW Special Reserve 12
ORVW 10 Year 107
JPS 18
Weller 12
Weller Special Reserve
Old Forester Signature 100
Old Granddad Bottled in Bond 100
Eagle Rare 10 year 101 (2 200 ml, 1 375 ml)
Elmer T Lee (9)

Single Malts:
Macallan 12
Yamazaki 12

Hope that the Elmer supply doesn't dry up, but bunkering just in case it does. Weller 12 has been my go-to for the past few months but it is getting harder to find. Stumbled across the Taylor Warehouse Surviving today and grabbed one. My wife actually told me to go back and buy another one--I have a tendency to hoard my good bottles if I don't have a spare on the shelf. Helps that she appreciates good bourbon almost as much as I do. Think I've got a solid line on Stagg and William Larue Weller when they come out later this year.

Never thought I needed a liquor cabinet until earlier in this thread. Got this one a few months ago.

Can I ask where you ran across Taylor Tornado?

I had a fairly heavy drinking weekend. Emptied my bottles of Eagle Rare 10, Elijah Craig 12, and Old Grand Dad 114.

Cuban's in Shreveport, three more bottles on the shelf. Pretty good selection of Taylor varieties, will grab a few more next time I'm there.

I was asked yesterday just how small of a release is the BTAC each year. I don't really know. Does anyone here have an idea of about how much is bottled each year?

The company I work for is based out of Louisville. One of my bosses that is in town offered to bring me whatever I want the next time he comes here. Looks like I've got some thinking to do.
