Rocked some 4RSB tonight flask style for the wedding reception...always available and never disappoints.

Looks exactly the same as the single barrel offering in the 'cairn. Wonder if it truly tastes different

It does. Not that I have had it yet but they all look the same but taste vastly different.

Very different from the SiB. Compares well to the weller antique with a harsher finish, but from what everyone says it really opens up after a few days. I definitely noticed a difference after just one day.

Are there any liquor stores worth checking out in Pensacola?

Going to Japan in july...any suggestions?

If you are able to, the tour at Suntory Yamazaki is amazing. Also the prices at the tasting counter are very reasonable.

(For USD take two zeros off the yen price.)

$29 for the Hibiki 30 is well worth the trip alone.

Just saw a 3 or 4 ft shark not 20 yards off the beach. Some crazy redneck took off after him

Smaller one just swam not 15 feet from my wife and I . That's enough water for now.

That's a hell of a scotch haul. Let me know what you think of that Highland 18...it's been years since I've had it and almost grabbed a bottle today.

I was just about completely out so I grabbed some good ones. I have only had one bottle of the 15 and liked it. Looking forward to trying the 18. I absolutely love the tom12 for the price so I grabbed 2...I end up going to that one a lot because of the price point.
