A few years ago, I lived within walking distance of a black owned Creole restaurant in N.O. I walked by it during Essence Fest, and 2 of the waiters were having a fairly animated discussion with one of the owners - (all were African American). The waiters were complaining that they were busting their butts and making little to no money from tips. Later that day, I walked by it again, and there was a sign posted in the window stating that they were closing ASAP for several days due to plumbing issues.

They do the same thing for Texas Relays in Austin. The year one of the malls shut down, the screams of racism were so frikin loud....but it was slightly due to demographics of the relays lol

They found some spoiled meat left over from Smith and Wollensky days. They need time to rinse it off and grind for burgers by next Tuesday.
