Only have a few hours to kill before the Baseball game tomorrow night. Just wanted to check out a brewery or brew Brewpub, for a couple beers.

Thanks

8th Wonder is right down the road from Minute Maid. They have good beers and a nice little setup

Didn't they just do a huge renovation/upgrade to their beer garden?

I think you are better off going to a bar like Axelrad, Hey Merchant, Flying Saucer, and conservatory.

I like a good APA, IPA & IIPA
But I have to drive myself to the game, so I can't go too crazy. Or I could just called an Uber.

When we went to a Astros game in April, we did St. Arnold, then ate and drank at the Conservatory. I'd thoroughly enjoyed both. SA is a short Uber, Conservatory is walkable to Minute Maid.

It really depends on how quickly you are trying to get home after the game. If you just walk a few blocks into downtown, it will not be hard to get a uber or lyft without surge.

8th wonder is about 16-minute walk but an easy exit from the game. Their set up is nice but I just don't love their beer.

Sigma and saint arnolds are both short drives/ubers from the stadium with better beer. I wouldn't want to leave my car at either at night for extended hours.

The only reason i suggest a bar is because Texas brewery laws suck and when they are packed the Token thing gets annoying.

Listing Karbach once is bad enough.

SpindleTap is a hike from downtown too. Good beer though.

I hit up Spindletap before the game last Saturday. Had to see what this Houston Haze was all about.

When I dont have much time before a game I like to park in the saks garage which is across the the street from flying saucer and just go there. Its normally $10 and an easy exit from the game. If you dont feel like walking its only a $5 uber but it isnt a crazy walk.

Just stay within walking distance of MMP.

8th Wonder for a brewery - they don't really make great beers in the styles you like, though

Flying Saucer - the old downtown staple

Conservatory - more trendy, but good beer selection

Craft Beer Cellar - a lot of local taps
