The type of bun can make or break a burger. My favorite by far is the jalapeño bun. The contrast in taste from the meat and cheese and dressings to the bun just brings everything together for an amazingly explosive taste.

I like brioche, onion bun, and ciabatta.

I don't really enjoy pretzel buns.

And nothing fancy. Just a standard drive in style cheeseburger.

I love me some Evangeline Maid. Grew up on it and I don't get it much anymore locally.

Poboy bread is debated a good bit , but their Po-Boys buns are my favorite, as well.

How do you guys make the bun perfect?

Every time I make burgers at home, the buns never seem to hold up well for me. I usually butter and then toast them.

You asking how to keep all your dressings in the bun hen you're eating? Cause cutting te burger in half always helps me.

Had these last night, lightly toasted on the grill after the burgers were done. Excellent.

Hawaiian or Sourdough sometimes

Other times, it's hard to beat a good old fashioned toasted sesame seed bun.
