I'm just happy there are 7 breweries I've never heard of beating Tin Roof, which is garbage beer.

Parish does a few things really, really well but it's hard to argue their range is more impressive than Great Raft.

It is a shame Baton Rouge has such few breweries

Just one of the ways it can be such a head-scratching place for a college town.

What exactly are we basing it on? Because....

Good question, because it is on account of:

Beer roster top to bottom - Great Raft
Best LA Brewery Tap Room - NOLA
Best single brew in the State - Parish

Too many Parish baws who like inconsistency in their beer.

I would have voted for them if they hadn't IPA'd their attempt at a lager.

I have done my fair share of hating on tin roof but it seems they are finally starting to listen. My gf's dad buys it all the time for the sake of buying local. I use to scuff at the voodoo bengals but I had it after the Florida game and was pleasantly surprised. It is a way different beer than the malt bomb it use to be.

They are no where near the best brewery but they may be learning and adjusting....finally

Voted great raft but parish is probably the best brewery

Do they do press releases or anything? A simple "yeah our beer was terrible, so we decided to scrap the recipe and reformulate to make a good beer" type thing would be helpful.

Same here. Great raft's wild/funky/sour beers put themabout even if i could get them with some regularity. Parish's Hoppy beers and reve stout are second to none, however.

Ghost has been up and down but Envie certainly has been rock solid, GR was great this year, Dr. is always damn good and you guys have been torturing the ones that did not go to the dinner/tasting event with their new beer.

Sounds like Parish is up there.
