Super simple tonight. Roasted the rest of the sprouts with potatoes and seared some chicken thighs in the cast iron.

More Kimchi Fried Rice and a "save" of rice I added 1 cup too much water to. Put it under the broiler until toasted and added a soy glaze. Not bad at all.

Trying to use up the last of the Thanksgiving glazed ham, soooo...

Fresh squid-ink pasta tossed with diced aforementioned ham, shallots, fresh spinach and a proscuitto & sweet pea cream sauce. Sprinkled with shredded parmesan.

It sounds crazy but it was INCREDIBLE. Perfect combination of sweet, salty and rich.

Vodka waters.

Tonight, I have the last of some leftover pot roast/rice and gravy my mom sent home from Thanksgiving (just the meat and gravy, I made fresh rice). I roasted up some brussels sprouts and tossed them with a balsamic glaze and threw together a corn maque choux and wished I had fresh corn.

Oh well.

No ice cream tonight. The doctor told me he could tell I liked it too much. That sumbitch.

Split and pounded thin a chicken breast, dredged the halves in breadcrumbs, and baked. Topped with defrosted meat sauce (pork and beef) and parmesan.

So I guess I had a weird tri-protein parmesan with no noodles.

We did breakfast last night.

Eggs over easy, French toast and bacon.
